We are delighted to announce the successful seminar co-organized by Hexing Group and our Brazilian subsidiary, ELETRA last month in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil.
The seminar was honored to welcome Phil Beecher, Chairman of the Wi-SUN Alliance, as the keynote speaker, delivering a two-hour speech. Chairman Beecher focused his presentation on the latest advancements around the new FAN1.1 standard for Wi-SUN technology, showcasing its interoperability and security features, addressing the concerns of customers, and demonstrating how Wi-SUN can significantly enhance communication management applications for power distribution and water supply companies.
Nine power company customers and partners, including COPEL, CEMIG, CPFL, EDP, CELESC, NEOENERGIA, EQUATORIAL, ENERGISA, and COPREL, attended the seminar, along with professional professors from local universities, three certification agencies Inmetro, Eldorado, and Master, as well as partners GE and local R&D institution LACTEC. Chairman Beecher and many guests shared and exchanged in-depth discussions on the development of Wi-SUN technology and product certification.
Three representatives from Hexing also gave speeches during the seminar. The first speaker, David Dai, CEO of LITIOT, a subsidiary of Hexing Group, made an opening announcement on behalf of Hexing. He explained that the seminar would focus on information and network security, artificial intelligence, smart grids, and other topics related to smart city network technologies. He then formally presented the layout of Hexing Group's overall business and its four major business segments. The second speaker was Samuel, Hexing solution director, who gave a comprehensive introduction to the Hexing AMI total solution and demonstrated how it helped manage various challenges during the Copel project's execution. Finally, the Solution Project Delivery Director, Rodrigo, introduced the Wi-SUN NOC solution and guided on-site customers through a visit to the NOC office in Curitiba.
Then the technical discussion centered around Copel, Brazil's first large-scale Wi-SUN project. ELETRA delivered the smart meter project to one million meters, distributed throughout 101 cities, and managed via the Wi-SUN communication network developed by Hexing Group. With significant human and resource costs, Hexing's smart meter products, overall solutions, and project management capabilities must meet strict requirements. Hexing demonstrated the project from early design to delivery, installation, debugging, and acceptance, showcasing how the Hexing AMI total solution resolved various delivery process challenges. These solutions were highly recognized by the technical experts present, who praised Hexing for sharing project practices tailored to Brazil AMI projects and providing vital reference value for Brazil's large-scale Wi-SUN projects.
During the seminar, Hexing Group successfully demonstrated the effectiveness of the Wi-SUN overall solution in managing massive equipment and achieving the goal of interconnecting all devices, which greatly impressed the Brazilian power customers in attendance. This success was acknowledged not only by the guests present but also by local media outlets such as Corumbaiba Noticias, Sala da Noticia, and Revista TAE, and was featured on the Wi-SUN Alliance website. Hexing Group plans to continue launching advanced technologies and solutions worldwide, committed to providing the best possible services and support to our customers.
